Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
